Berkshire Farms Winery
Our History
In 2011, two brothers decided to make getting dirty profitable. Established by cowboys Jonathan and Jason Jackson, Berkshire Farms specializes in free-range, local pork. From thick sliced and flavorful bacon to breakfast and summer sausage, the farm fresh meats have become a butcher shop essential across the metroplex. With the success of Berkshire Farms and a growing desire amongst the two brothers to pair their meats with spirits, they began to delve into another industry, wine. And in 2017, Berkshire Farms Winery was born.
Like the meats that they so intricately harvest, the craftsmanship in each bottle of wine is just as detailed. The brothers draw on flavors of familiarity to produce each expression, such as savory, spicy peppers and juicy pomegranate. Each flavor profile is distinct. According to Jonathan, “It’s Cheers in a wine bottle, we know your name and create what you like.” There’s trial and error, but it’s through the process they discover a little more about not only the process, but the complexities of the relationship from grape to glass.
