  • Our dream was to create high quality, hand crafted, small lots of cabernet sauvignon from top Napa Valley appellations. In vintage 2000, we made our first barrels from merlot grown on the Carneros property where we lived. We knew we were on to something special! For several more years, while working a full time job in the wine industry, James spent evenings and weekends learning the intricacies of winemaking. James was fortunate to have the opportunity to work alongside two phenomenal winemakers in the Valley; Mark Jessup, former winemaker from Jessup Cellars, Robert Mondavi and Opus One and now winemaker at J. Gregory Wines, and subsequently with Gustavo Brambila, former winemaker for Chateau Montelena, Grgich Hills and now part owner/winemaker of Gustavo Wines.

La Fête du Rosé is produced in conjunction with the prestigious winemakers

from the oldest vineyard on the St. Tropez peninsula. Established in 1340, the domaine and vineyards span over 60 hectares overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

Founder / CEO Donae Burston created La Fête because there "wasn't a rosé brand that spoke to diverse audiences. When you thought about rosé, you didn't think of Black, Brown, or Asian people drinking it, or, at the time, see brands promoting multicultural people or Men drinking their wine. It was not reflective of the universal appeal of rosé."

Together, we are committed to sustainable agriculture, the environment, and the protection of nature. Sustainability is our guiding principle, and as a result, our wine is 100% pesticide-free.

It was a house full of love, amazing food, and strong drinks, which often lead to passionate debates, competitive games and belly laughs.

While enjoying all the festivities, our founder, Jerry Bailey, was asked by some of the women in his family for something different to drink. The cognac that most of the men were drinking was too strong and the wine was a bit too dry and bitter for them. They expressed that they wanted something that was sophisticated and complex while also fruity.

All of the wines are produced in small lots to keep a hands-on approach to quality control.

The Longevity philosophy declares it is not just about the wines, but the experience. The food you had with it, the friends you shared the wine with, and the location the experience took place. Everyone who visits the tasting room is treated like family, and always brings back friends for the experience.

Our wine begins on the northern coast of California

where fog and sloped sun feed into early harvested fruit. With roots in Venice, our blend mixes classic Champagne tradition with new California ideology – respecting the delicacy and biodiversity of the environment as much as the subtlety and pop of the bubbles to create a distinctly Sapere sparkling.

We pride ourselves on minimal intervention in the vineyards and cantina. Our signature sparkling is a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, no added chemicals or sulfites, no residual sugar. Always Vegan
